Soul Food

In this very complex world of sophisticated technology that we have created for our human experience, we have given value to “things” that control our existence on this planet. We are dominated by segments of “time”, valued for the numbers that we carry in our bank accounts, the fancy cars we drive, the big mansions we own, etc.

Pondering on all of this, I see numbers moving from one place to another, little wands moving on the phase of a clock telling us time is up for this or that. All contributing to a false sense of worth and a false sense of being. This value system has worked for centuries to maintain order and a “functioning society”. I ask the question, how has it maintained “my soul”?

There comes a time when this value system ceases its power over the soul in its human embodiment and the soul awakens to what is real and meaningful. It is that which you can’t touch but can sense from deep inside , our inner guidance system. That which you can’t embrace physically , but warms and nourishes you, it is the essence of what and who we are . It is our connection to God, Source, Creator, use the name that fits your belief system. It is all the same Energy, Being, etc.

We are a part of this Greatness, a microcosm of the Eternal Flame. The further we allow these systems to control us, the further from our Truth we go, and the further from our true happiness we drift. The power lies within ourselves to be brought back to Source. “ By Faith you shall be healed”. Faith is the acknowledging of the connection we make to Source, trusting without seeing and knowing we are a part of this Greatness. It is in that connection that we can be freed from human bondage to experience the essence of who and what we truly are. It provides nourishment for our souls and sustains us in our physical bodies until we travel Home again.
